As many of you know, I was MIA for a time while taking a family vacation in New York city. Chris competed in the NY city triathlon and we headed up early to spend some time getting to know the city - it was great! We "hoofed it" all over
Manhattan and even went to the Bronx Zoo. After a few days, we were subway pros - I think the kids really enjoyed riding them day
and night. It definitely is the city that never sleeps!
Below is a picture of Chris on the third leg of the triathlon. He'd already finished the 2 mile swim in the Hudson (where he'd been stung by jellyfish), finished a 20 something mile ride on his bike, and is just beginning his 6 mile run down 72
nd street and into Central Park where he'll finish up. The kids ran beside him shortly before we headed over to wait at the finish line. (click on any pic to view it larger)
