glance.in.advance
I'm so excited for these two! They will officially become Mr. and Mrs. this weekend but we had a little non-traditional photo shoot today. Lindsey is sooo great about photos and wanted to make sure that the bride and groom photo time was not rushed on the wedding day - so we had a "glance-in-advance" shoot. (it took me all of 5 minutes to come up with that name!) Actually, in many areas, "day after" shoots are becoming very popular - same concept, except the bride and groom get dressed for a mini session after the big day. I'm so glad that they requested today's session because these two can rock a picture! I'm only posting one for now, but more will follow with their wedding post. I had been nervously watching the forecast all week hoping that the predicted rain and thunderstorms would clear out for Bill and Jamie's big day. I don't know how, but even though it was supposed to be wet and rainy, it turned out to be a wonderful day for their ceremony! It was such a sweet time for them. Thank you guys for letting me share in your day - I wish you the very best. Here are just a few shots of the many, many more to come. (click on any pic to view it larger)

What a wonderful family... as soon as I met them, I could immediately tell how happy these three were! (even though Olivia was very hesitant at first!) I finally got her to warm up to me with a game of peek-a-boo :) However, I did not seem to be as exciting as the branches she kept finding. She really enjoyed being outside. Thank you guys for being so pleasant and easy going - and I hope Olivia got plenty of Cheerios for her effort :) (click on any pic to view it larger)

Well, make that five if you include Lucy! She's the faithful little family dog and she pulled off so many statuesque poses during our session! It was a beautiful day for shooting and a great location as well. A big thanks to you guys for hanging in there and keeping those yawns at bay (that's mainly for Luke!). I hope you enjoyed our little stroll. Here are just a few peeks at what's to come. I have to say - I'm really diggin' Luke's socks :) (click on any pic to view it larger)

What a fun shoot today! It did feel like playing "dress up" - there were just sooo many fun places to shoot and Lindsey did such a wonderful job! She seemed more like a model than the actual bride-to-be... but she is indeed getting married soon. Lindsey, I hope you and Mom had a great time at the shoot! Of course I have lots more pictures to edit, but these few should tide you over! (click on any pic to view it larger)

I love shooting engagement sessions! It's so fun capturing two people just happy to be with each other - Matt & Lindsey were no exception! It was great to hang out with you guys on such a beautiful day. Thanks for being so easy to work with. I have so, so many more great pictures to edit, but I wanted to post a few so you can show everyone what stylish models you are! (click on any pic to view it larger).

indra.thomas
I had the pleasure of shooting a mini session with Ms. Indra Thomas for this month's issue of V3. What an easy shoot! Full of personality & popping poses like it was nothing - she made it fun and interesting :) Indra is an international opera singer and if you didn't get a chance to read about her in V3, you can check out her website. back.to.the.bistro
January & February brought some very nippy weather - so I kept busy with many indoor projects...one being heading back to Bistro 239 to get some tasty shots of Chef Lance's art (see a few pics below). He'll be hanging his favorite prints along the restaurant walls very soon - stop in to take a peek & a taste! Also, some of my own personal prints are currently hanging on display along the entrance way - they're wonderfully moody & I hope everyone enjoys them!
