I love shooting engagement sessions! It's so fun capturing two people just happy to be with each other - Matt & Lindsey were no exception! It was great to hang out with you guys on such a beautiful day. Thanks for being so easy to work with. I had the pleasure of shooting a mini session with Ms. Indra Thomas for this month's issue of V3. What an easy shoot! Full of personality & popping poses like it was nothing - she made it fun and interesting :) Indra is an international opera singer and if you didn't get a chance to read about her in V3, you can check out her website. back.to.the.bistro

January & February brought some very nippy weather - so I kept busy with many indoor projects...one being heading back to Bistro 239 to get some tasty shots of Chef Lance's art (see a few pics below). He'll be hanging his favorite prints along the restaurant walls very soon - stop in to take a peek & a taste! Also, some of my own personal prints are currently hanging on display along the entrance way - they're wonderfully moody & I hope everyone enjoys them! (click on any pic to view it larger.)

If you didn't already know, I've been doing some shooting for V3 magazine these past few months. It's been great in that I've been able to hang out with some very interesting people while shooting a variety of stories. February's issue is out and I wanted to post a little bit about Mr. James Schroeder, who graces this month's cover. He's a local college student churning out some really cool pieces of artwork, using nothing more than stencils and spray paint. You can see some of his work hanging in local establishments around town as well as in a cyberspace display. If you have a chance to pick up this month's V3 you can read all about his artistic plans. Hope everyone had a great holiday break! I'm still deciding on my resolutions - which means I can't break them yet :) I declare 2008 to be a year of clarity, with more goals realized and thankfulness in the opportunity to obtain them! ...more adventure & more fun.

Speaking of fun, I'm at the editing phase of my final shoot of 2007 (yes, I took quite a break but I'm catching up!) What a great collective attitude this family possesses! As I post these pics I can remember how great the weather was on the day I got to hang out with the Thomas family. It's 32 degrees outside currently! I'm so glad we didn't have to contend with the cold during our shoot...
