When Caroline's mom called for a "newborn" type session I was a little worried about how soundly Caroline would sleep, since she's 5 weeks old. Her mom said she was a sound sleeper and as you can see below, she was correct! We moved her, posed her, and put jewelry and bows on her - she didn't mind at all :) Below are just a few preliminary shots for Mom & Dad -thank you guys for being so willing and easy to work with! As many of you know, I was MIA for a time while taking a family vacation in New York city. Chris competed in the NY city triathlon and we headed up early to spend some time getting to know the city - it was great! We "hoofed it" all over Manhattan and even went to the Bronx Zoo. After a few days, we were subway pros - I think the kids really enjoyed riding them day and night. It definitely is the city that never sleeps!

Below is a picture of Chris on the third leg of the triathlon. He'd already finished the 2 mile swim in the Hudson (where he'd been stung by jellyfish), finished a 20 something mile ride on his bike, and is just beginning his 6 mile run down 72nd street and into Central Park where he'll finish up. The kids ran beside him shortly before we headed over to wait at the finish line. (click on any pic to view it larger)

Juli set up a photo session for her family, since they would be coming into town from Alaska, Indiana, and South Africa. I found out later that they have not all been together like this in 17 years! Since the visit is a short one, I wanted to get a few shots up so that you guys could see them before you parted ways once again. Thanks for being patient and willing - have a great visit together! When I arrived at Tiffany's home, the house was buzzing with all the activity associated with pre-wedding preps. Her bridesmaids each wore the cutest monogrammed pink towel cover-ups, and of course, Tiffany wore a matching one in white. The girls seemed to have a lot of fun before getting down to business (and getting married :) Even though a little rain shower decided to show up before everyone headed to the chapel, everything ran smoothly for Chris and Tiffany's big day. I hope you two have a great time on your honeymoon. Below are just a few shots from the day. (click on any pic to view it larger.)

Congratulations to Matt & Lindsey - they said "I do" and ran off to Mexico! It was such a happy ceremony - so glad I was able to be a part of it, and also, to have gotten to know two wonderful people so in love. I hope you both have the best experiences together! I wish you all the best. Below are a few shots from the day. (click on any pic to view it larger)

I spent a late afternoon with the Erwin family hanging out at the train tracks... and boy was it hot! But they were sooo great - they were definitely up for unique locations and brought a great energy to their pictures. I hope that after all that hard work, you guys enjoyed your much deserved snow cones! (click on any pic to view it larger)
